The varsity team opened the 2018-19 season by going undefeated at the Uniontown Lake Duals. The squad defeated Uniontown Lake, Akron Manchester, Canton Central Catholic, and Tuslaw (preseason state ranked 4th in division three). Wrestlers finishing undefeated on the day included Rupert Moore, Jimmy Baumann, Niko Gonzalez, Seth Shumate, Lennox Wolak, and Riley Ucker.
