With six placers at the prestigious Medina Invitational Tournament, the team placed 5th out of 48 teams. Seth Shumate (195) led the charge as he was crowned champion in a very difficult weight class. Lennox Wolak (182) made his second finals appearance in a major tournament and finished in 2nd place. Riley Ucker (220) stepped up his game and finished in 4th place while Jimmy Baumann (120) and Antonio Gonzalez (152) finished 5th. Eric Feng (285) finished in 7th place. It was another great team effort by the Rocks wrestlers. On January 10th, the team will travel to Central Crossing High School to compete against the Comets in the first conference action of the year. Go Rocks.
